Ben Cousins return to Senior AFL tonight was, by all acounts, a success. Wearing Number 32 for Richmond, Cousins collected 21 disposals in his first match back, sticking it up naysayers like Tom Hafey, who this week publicly shared his view that Cousins had a chance and blew it.
Dispelling doubts of his fitness, form and ability, Cousins got some good possesion and used the ball well.
In front of more than 37,000 people at the Dome, despite a good game from Cousins, Richmond lost to Collingwood - 2.3.15 (51) to 1.13.10 (97).
